Our Mission

Supporting our Community

The mission of the Maury County LTRG is to provide recovery services to individuals and households affected by disasters in Maury County.  The goal of the Maury County LTRG is to enable all residents to recover from disasters to the extent possible given available resources. Services will be provided regardless of the individual's race, creed, color, gender, ethnic background, sexual orientation, disability, or religious preference, employing financial policies and procedures to ensure Maury County LTRGs’ assets are utilized for recovery in accordance with donor intent/restrictions and with direction from the Steering Committee.

This group is committed to advancing the well-being of those affected by the May 8th tornados.  Our success is not defined by financial gains, but by the positive influence we have on those we support. Discover more about our work below.

Supporting Residents

Helping Identify Needs 

The Maury County LTRG will work with residents to identify unmet needs after insurance and any other benefits received.  We will also support residents emotionally and spiritually. 

Raising Money

Empowering Futures

The Maury County Long Term Group will  raise money solely for the use of helping residents in their time of need.  No funds will be used for administration or operations.  

Managing Donations

Managing and Distributing

The Maury County Long Term Recovery Group will help manage in-kind donations needed to help residents return to pre disaster.  These donations could be food, clothing, clean up items or construction supplies.

Connecting Communities

Utilizing Volunteers

People in this community want to help!  The Maury County Long Term Recovery Group will find volunteers willing to serve and use their talents to support our neighbors.
